Born in Toledo, Ohio, and raised by a single mother of Jamaican descent. Moved to Brooklyn, New York at a very young age, raised as a latch key kid in Brooklyn, New York.  Upon graduating from High School, I returned back to Toledo, Ohio to attend undergraduate and law school.  Father of three sons, and grandfather of two beautiful grandchildren.  Member of Phi Beta Sigma and a Prince Hall Mason, St. Mark’s Lodge # 7.
